My wife and I went there for lunch twice this week, our first experiences with Sakura. We both ordered off the lunch special menu, 3 rolls and Miso soup for $12.00. The lunch special menu is a limited selection, but provides incredible value! The service was great both times, very nice and attentive. My wife commented that there seemed to be a lot of people working, which means everyone is taken care of promptly. The employees are all very nice and welcoming. We have had the spicy tuna, spicy crab, McHenry, Shrimp Tempura (wife's favorite), Alaska, and Philly. 6 rolls; 36 pcs and 2 bowls of soup with 2 ice teas for $30.67 before tip.
The sushi was fresh, presented nicely, and damn tasty! It is our new favorite dining establishment in McHenry.
Great service, food, and location.
